How Does Testicular Size and Testosterone Affect Manhood?

Testosterone is the hormone that is responsible for the manhood. High testosterone level in a man is responsible for high muscularity, deep voice, increased body hair but decreased scalp here, increased sperm production and fertility and increased aggressiveness.

1. Testosterone deepens the voice

Testosterone level in a male child starts to rise on the onset of puberty. As you know that before puberty the voice of both male and female children is high pitched and similar to each other. But after puberty under the influence of testosterone the voice of the male child starts to deepen and become low pitched.

2. Testosterone reaches its peak value in the age of 20 years

As we have already stated that the testosterone level begin to rise in the blood of male child at the time of onset of puberty. The onset of puberty occurs in a male child around 12-14 years of age. Testosterone level reaches its peak at the age of 20 and then remain at a plateau level fo three to four years and then gradually and slowly starts to decline.

3. Bigger testicles produce more testosterone

If you have big testicles then you tend to produce more testosterone. But the size of testicle also has a wide range in different males. Some males have small and other have larger than average testicles.

4. Do Small Testicles Affect Fertility?

Small testicles don't affect fertility unless they are too small. Some males have small testicles and other have large but the fertility depends on number of sperms they produce. Even men with single testicles usually can produce enough sperms to make a baby.

5. Men with Smaller testicles are good fathers

Some research studies suggested that men with smaller testicles tend to become good and caring fathers. They show more interest in the proper growth, development and care of the baby [1].

6. Does penis size depend on the size of testicles?

Size of the penis is usually genetically defined. Although environment does have an affect on it. But size of the testicles usually doesn't affect the size of the penis much. If your testosterone is within normal range, then you size of the penis can be average or larger. Men with larger than average testicles do have smaller than average sized penises and vice versa.

7. Testicular Self Examination

Testicular self examination should be done regularly to notice some sudden or aggressive changes in the size of testicles early. Examine your testicles by rolling them between you fingers during taking a bath or shower. If you notice any lump or sudden or weired change in size then see a doctor.

8. High Testosterone and Libido.

Those men whose testosterone level is high and have bigger testicles tend to have more erections. The frequency of erections in these men is found to be higher.

9. Normal Range of Testosterone in blood.

The normal range of testosterone in blood is from 260 to 1080 ng/dl. If your testosterone level is somewhere between these values then you are fine. You can perform manly functions normaly.

10.  High testosterone is linked to a higher risk of heart and vascular disease.

Those men who have high level of testosterone are at greater risk of developing heart diseases. But a UK study shows that in old age low testosterone level is linked to higher mortality of heart patients. For Details of this UK Study Click Here

11. Low testosterone is easily treatable.

If your testosterone is lower than 260ng/dl then you can be managed easily with the help of testosterone repacement therapy.
