Dr. Siddique Akbar Satti is the head of department of medicine, Capital Hospital Islamabad, Pakistan. He graduated from Rawalpindi Medical College in early 80s. He joined Capital Hospital in 1992. He also served as Executive Director of the hospital.

Dr. Siddique Akbar Satti is also a fellow and examiner of College of Physician and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). He played a vital role in the development of his department in Capital Hospital. The Medicine department of Capital Hospital is the largest of all departments. Every year Capital Hospital receives more than hundred thousand patients in the out-patient department of medicine alone. More than 10,000 patients are admitted in the department of medicine every year.

He is the one of the pioneer gastro-enterology fellows of CPSP.  He is an expert endoscopist and is well-known for his expert abilities.
He is also well-know among his colleagues for his fitness and everlasting young looks.
“It is surprising to me, how Dr. Satti has maintained his fitness, he still looks young and athletic, in our busy profession, I wonder how he does that” Said, Dr. Saleem Qureshi of KRL Hospital during a medical camp in Kalyami village near Islamabad.
Dr. Satti is also a certified supervisor for the training of post-graduate students. He delivers comprehensive lectures on daily basis. He takes personal interest and monitor the training of his students all by himself. Some of the examples of his teaching and clinical sessions can also be seen on this website.
In November 2014 he also organized a Mock exam of Intermediate Module of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. Post-graduate trainees from all over the Pakistan came to participate in this exam and his efforts were appreciated.
